Hitachi Technical Solution

Ferrovia developed the rolling stock technical solution for Hitachi, including train layout and interiors (modelled in 3D at concept level), such as defining equipment locations, seating positioning to meet DDA and DSAPT requirements, handrails, bicycle storage, interior lighting, Passenger Information Screens, and the application of TfNSW branding for interior and exterior.

• Developed rolling stock technical solution for contract compliance:
  • Interior and exterior train design
  • Seating and amenities layout
  • CAD for all interior elements and exterior front end
• Led industrial design uplift to improve the customer experience offering
• Generated all renderings and visualisations
• Provided inputs, structure and critical review to animation supplier
